Fabrizio Constanza is an award-winning artist & designer. Born in England, raised in Guatemala and educated in the United States. In 2000, he established Fabrizio Constanza Design in Guatemala city. Since then, Fabrizio has consistently challenged the traditional boundaries between visual and functional Art. He has established as the most awarded designer in the region with 20 international awards. His body of work includes functional art, furniture, lighting, interior architecture and conceptual art.
His inspiration comes from the emotions generated by existence: The passage of time, reflections of the world, past nostalgia and future signs. Fabrizio captures and materializes emotions into Art and Design creations. His professional training are 2 years of Liberal Art Studies at Guilford College, 2 years at the UNC Greensboro’ Art school and a BA in industrial Design from MSU Denver.
Fabrizio’s art and design work has being exhibited worldwide including: Paris Design Week, Bellevue Biennial, Milan Design Week, Pinta( Miami basel), New York Design week and Florence Biennale. His work has been publishedin by Design Milk, Spain 24 RTVE, brasil Radar, Denver Entravision and Art Market Magazine to mention a few.
Fabrizio is a believer in the importance of design education and the benefits of public art. He constantly collaborates with industrial design university departments as a guest speaker and feedback mentor at student’s project presentations. Internationally, he has served as jury member multiple times at the A ’Design Award and Competition and SIT furniture design Award.
